BLACKROCK BAPTIST'S MISSIONARIES
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA
The
Camarottis:

Fri 7/2/2010
Dear prayer partners
As I write to you it is with a heart that is thankful
for our Lord who holds us in the palm of His hand and shields and
protects us.
Frank and I met with Alex at the Baptist Union on Wednesday and as we
left and were driving home we both were quiet and finally I said
"Frank we have truly worked ourselves out of a job". The Board is in
good order and God is in control. This made us a both a little sad but
as we thought about it we realized the Lord was giving us peace that
truly our task has been completed and He was setting us free.
As we were attending the General Meeting in Kiev Ukraine with our
Black Sea cluster . News came about Uzbekistan and the civil war.
Immediately we thought of our Romanian colleague whose brother and
family were serving there. News was not good. One of our missionaries
had a direct contact with someone there. We immediately contacted our
friend and he asked us to please pray for his brother and family. His
car had been bombed. As we requested prayer for the Romanian
Missionary and his family our heart was heavy for the family. I can
not give the name for security reasons. The city had blockades where
the groups had taken control. There were killings, bombings and yes
even a person burned alive. As we found out our missionary was at the
other side of the city when the war broke out and was trap-ed and
could not get to his family. His wife and three children. She was
still recuperating from losing a baby the month prior.
The oldest child is 5 years of age and two younger siblings.
She gathered up their papers and a few belongings
that she could carry and began a very dangerous journey to reach
safety. She had to find ways around the barricades and sneak through
areas. But God had her in His protection. She reached her husband. The
German embassy went in and got them out. All that was on the news was
6 Romanians rescued. The family kept it very quiet. The family all
came to Bucharest to welcome them home. They are safe with their
family now. But would return if it is all possible. I would say our
Romanian Missionaries that are being sent are truly called of God and
willing to give their lives up to serve the King of Kings.
So as you see the Mission Board is in good hands. And we know we will
see great things come from these Romanian Missionaries.
So I ask you to continue to pray for our Romanian Servants as God is
calling them out to serve.
We love you and the time is going fast in Three and half months we
will be back with you. Please pray we will know the place of service
the Lord has for us. As you know ministry is our heart. But it will
also be great to be with children, and of course grandchildren and you
our friends.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF
LAS MESAS, HONDURAS
The Johns:

George and DeeDee Johns are missionaries out of our church. They have been in Honduras since 2003. They have been ministering in the city of Las Mesas Honduras.
The folks from Blackrock and Five Points went to
Honduras to dedicate the Johns new home and baptized several who had
been saved.
During the visit George had a visit he wanted Pastor Camarotti to make
with him. The family was Catholic and wanted to know what Baptist
believe. This family is an influential
family in their village. Brother Camarotti coming out of Catholic
background was able to talk their language. Before they left the home
the husband, wife and daughter became born again believers in Jesus
Christ.
On March 5, 2006 the First Baptist Church of Las Mesas was formed.
The John’s family ministry is totally funded by churches just like yours. Please keep them in prayer and support financially when you have the opportunity.
