Dr. Phil Hoskins from Higher Ground Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. Dr. Hoskins is a man of God with a word from God.  He is high demand in the Southern Baptist Convention and has spoken in numerous crusades and revivals.

Phil Hoskins is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. He attended East Tennessee State University, Milligan College, and is a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Seminary where he earned his Doctor of Theology Degree.

For twelve years, Pastor Hoskins served as a full-time Southern Baptist evangelist, having conducted over four hundred revivals and crusades in twenty-eight states and Canada.

In January 1991, Phil accepted the pastorate of Higher Ground Baptist Church in Kingsport. At that time, the church membership was under 200. Under the leadership of Pastor Hoskins, the church has grown to the present membership which now exceeds 3,500, with over 2,800 additions by baptism. God continues to bless and the church moved into a new 2,500 seat auditorium in August 1998. Pastor Hoskins and his wife, Brenda, were blessed with the birth of their daughters McKenzie in 1994, and Madison in 2004.
