The Barnabas Samaritan Medical Clinic is a free primary care clinic. The clinic's purpose is to provide quality urgent health care services to adult residents of Nassau County, Florida. Dental professionals volunteer their time and expertise to provide care for those who would otherwise be unable to afford treatment. When you donate the items you no longer want or need to the New to You resale store, you are contributing directly to the Barnabas Center. The New to You resale store is a not-for-profit business and our proceeds are used to fund operating costs for Barnabas Center.

What to Donate:
Furniture, Appliances (except drop-in/built-in), Household Items, Clothing, Jewelry, and Sports Equipment.

What they cannot accept:

If you know any woman currently undergoing Chemo, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.

All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service.

Nassau Habitat for Humanity is the affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in Nassau County, Florida. Our mission is to help eliminate inadequate housing in our community…one house at a time.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 200,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Nassau Habitat builds simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments are used to build still more Habitat houses.

Each month, Medi-Share matches up member’s monthly share amounts with other member’s eligible medical needs and facilitates the direct sharing of those costs between them. It’s a modern-day version of what the church started back in the book of Acts.

As a Medi-Share® member, you’ll receive a monthly notice indicating the amount of your share. Access the secure member website to determine which members you are sharing with each month so you can pray for them and send a note of encouragement. It is common for members facing medical needs to receive many supportive messages from other members!
